Coach matt
REZ Owner/Director
Hitting•Catching•Fielding
Coach Matt started REZ Sports with a vision of youth sports training being refocused on the athlete instead of the organization. He found his purpose by using his experience of 14 years playing baseball and 20 years coaching/training baseball and softball athletes. In 2021, he decided it was time to bring together other passionate coaches and trainers to benefit youth athletes.
Coach Matt uses his experience to create custom training sessions that encompasses skills, strength, and the ability to make in-game adjustments as needed. During training, he believes in teaching techniques that will not only help young athletes in their sport, but also through the rest of their lives.

His senior year, he was awarded the Bishop Lynch Baseball Program’s Cy Young award. Following high school, he was a 4 year letterman and starting pitcher at Austin College in Sherman, TX.
At the tail-end of his playing career, he became an assistant coach for 4 different select programs, coaching players from the ages of 13 to 17. Following graduation in the summer of 2023, Max was named a head coach in the Metro Scout Collegiate League located in Fort Worth, TX.

Coach Max values his faith and relationship with God as his center point in life and aims to help players grow to be elite athletes on the field and grow in their faith with God and character off the field.
Coach JC
Hitting•Pitching•Fielding
Coach JC’s journey started at age 4 in Littlefield, TX, growing through USSSA travel baseball into a 4-year varsity starter and All-District outfielder, helping lead his team to a State Semifinal. After continuing at the post-grad level as a pitcher and outfielder, a shoulder injury cut his playing career short—but gave him a new purpose. Now a dedicated coach, he trains youth baseball and softball athletes in hitting, pitching, fielding, and HIIT, developing not just skills but discipline and character. His mission is simple: put God first and help every athlete grow on and off the field.
